As John is returning from his morning walk, who should he meet but the doctor, Harry, who in this chapter is again referred to as Henry.  Perhaps Harry is only his nickname.  Anyway, Henry is riding his horse on his way to see all his patients throughout the countryside.  He mentions to John that Adela should start taking a short walk outside now and then, and he rides off somewhere.  

Adela is willing to join John for a short walk, and he observes that she is beginning to be in good spirits.
